Another Great Memory
As I sat down at my sewing machine today (to work on my first sewing project in a long time), I pinned my pattern instructions to the framed collage of family photos I gave to my parents for their 40th anniversary.

And I remembered that my mother always had a framed picture above her sewing machine (actually, hers was one frame with several photos of my brothers when they were little) and she would pin her pattern instructions to the frame so she could see them while she sewed.
It was a nice memory, and it made me thankful that my mom taught me to sew and that we had worked together on so many sewing projects through the years (clothes for her and for me, prom dresses, baby clothes, toddler clothes, and even big girl matching dresses!).

Sometimes it’s the little things that you think about when your loved one is gone.
