What a Productive Weekend!

As I told you last time, I was heading out for a scrapbooking weekend last Friday and was preparing so that I could get a lot done over the weekend. And boy, did I!

Over the course of the weekend (1/2 day Friday, all day and night Saturday, and 1/2 day Sunday), I completed

• 50 traditional pages with photos (no journaling yet – too hard for me to journal with music and conversations going on!)
• 5 digital pages, which I will have printed and insert into my album
• 30 cards – all they need are the “greeting”, once I figure out whether I need them to be for birthdays, thanks you’s, etc.
• 12 cute pinwheels, which will be customer gifts at my Croptoberfest in October (can you keep a secret?)

This is the whole group of us – about 10 seconds after the final photo was taken, huge drops of rain started falling and it poured for the rest of the day and evening!

This is my friend, Barb, who went with me. We had a great time together and she got a lot done, too!

Finished product. You can see that I didn’t “color inside the lines” – I personalized the page instead of just following the boxes. This is a wonderful way to get a lot of pages done quickly and beautifully.

And last, but not least, the cute little pinwheels I made from paper scraps. They were a big hit at the retreat and everyone wanted to know how to make them!
